The Racket Squad: Keeping Up With His Jones

Roy is what you get when ego, pride and bad investments collide at 42 years of age and you have only one true viable skill.
Jones wasted a great deal of his career waiting around ( ya hear this Floyd) only to awaken one day to discover that a Tarver and a Johnson sprinted far past him.
They took their craft seriously and pushed Jones off the map.

This Russian expedition is a useless, ruthless and very dangerous journey.
Roy cannot survive the kind of power Denis inhabits.

I feel terrible for this Olympic great.
Jones is a spiritual man who thinks that his belief system will save him from what time has taken away.
In an ironic twist, Bernard Hopkins will challange for a World Title on that very same day.
Two very diffferent men with B-Hop having already proven who the wiser and more gifted man is.

On Saturday, Jones faith will not be tested.
It will be put to sleep.

Hopefully he will retain his only remaining power, that of speech.
Otherwise, his commentating gig will collapse as surely as his boxing career has.

This game can truly be a cruel fixation for those who cannot let it go.
