Comments Thread For: DiBella Reflects on His Career in The Boxing Business

About the only time you might think that quick tempered boxing promoter Lou DiBella becomes reflective is when he stands in front of a mirror.

My buddy interns on Thursdays across from DiBella's office. He says he often hears people telling him that if he just calms down that maybe a deal can get made. He also says Mr. DiBella and I have a lot in common because "you're both loud, foul-mouthed Italians that love boxing."

I told him to try and get in tight with DiBella for me, but no dice

Awesome, looks like a Martinez vs Sturm fight iasn't as far away as I thought it would be. Getting the belt back from Chavez (or Zibik) seems like a ploy to lure Strum back to the states.

I only took one thing from this interview:

Lou Dibella and Bob Arum can and will do business if the price is right and the weight is right. So, a Sergio Martinez and a Manny Pacquiao fight is possible down the line. HA!
