Will SKY take DeGale-Groves off PPV like they did Khan-McCloskey?

Now that Cleverly-Braehmer is off, will Sky move the card from Sky Box Office to Sky Sports instead?

Sky blamed the falling apart of the undercard the reason why Khan-McCloskey was taken off PPV. They called it quality control.

Will they do the same for DeGale-Groves? I bet you, they will not.

Khan clearly couldn't sell. If this fight sells, it stays on SBO.

, it had nothing to do with numbers. It was a quality control decision. That means that if Amir had stopped McCloskey in one round, people wouldn't feel satisfied about the PPV. Especially after what happened with Haye-Harrison.

They pulled the Khan PPV cause there was not enough intrest..it all depends on their judgement of the intrest in the groves vs degale fight, which is the main attraction of this PPV anyways. Cleverly vs Brahmer was the undercard in all reality..it will still be ppv i think.

All politics and relationships. Khan came up short with his family taking the lead. If he had Warren representing him things would have been different, but instead he uses his family or a USA promoter with no real long term relationships and angles to work with Sky....

I bet Warren the snake can persuade Sky to keep it on PPV...that will be the difference between Khans cab driving family and a long term boxing promoter.

I hope its not on PPV though

Which sums up the quality of Khan's choice of opponent being un worthy of PPV attraction, and had he been fighting a name, it would have remained.

McCloskey was world ranked. Top 10 Ring Magazine, WBC and WBA.

DeGale-Groves is for a mere British title.

Come on Wazaa, you and I both know, he wasn't blip on Khan's radar. Nothing against Khan himself, he did his job, lets just hope the next fight has an opponent who can bring the fight.

Very true. Do you think Sky will pick up Khan's next fight against Zab or Robert on either PPV or regular?

To be honest. I think he has burned his bridges.
