A style that can give pac trouble is
a counter puncher who can throw timed combo punches as a counter not a single one punches.
a fighter who can plant his foot while doing counters and move forward while doing so
like Marquez after the Knockdowns + Morales first fight
if u backpedal on pac youll lose everyround considering pacs improved defense moving forward while covering his face with his forearms and catch you with a straight left that will hurt your arse and make u run for ur life for 12 rounds
youll be hitting his forarms all night if you keep running and will get bOOS from the audience lol
so to say also clinching wont work on pac if u cant throw timed combo punches with it that stops pacs own combo attacks
coz if u stay in front of pac without throwing timed combo counter punches on pac your in trouble of messing up your face receiving 1000+ even if u clinch punches will get through at you lol and those punches HURTS let me make it bold HURTS
do not underestimate pacs power(look at those pacs opponents faces)
so FLOYDs clinching and backpedaling wont work againts pac if its not followed by "timed combo counter punches(marquez after KD +first fight morales)" which floyd doesnt do
and one last important note, you need to be able to take pacs PUNCH if you stand in front of him trying to exchange LOL good luck to that, coz one at time no matter how good of a counter puncher you are a punch from pac will get through, AND IT WILL HURT and dont get Knock the Fack out when u get hit with his fist like hatton :/
so to summarize everything:
A BOXER should have
1. Stamina that matches pacs
2. History of Knockout Power that scare the **** out of pac(make pac punch output diminish)
3. timed counter combo punches (to exchange with pac but must be timed not some wild ars punches)
4. Able to handle pacs punches when your hit even with a single punch that hit your face makes you stop throwing at pac(watch clottey fight)
5. A younger version of marquez or morales but one who can handle a punch also.
in other words the one who can beat pac right now hasnt been born yet :// sorry *****s
