I knew the fight wasn't gonna be competitive.I knew Mosley wouldn't win & I thought for sure Manny was gonna knock him out.Shane isn't a counter puncher & never was.He did show some angles with his old legs.Manny was frustrated by that.What Mosley did show was that if U get a prime elite fighter with good movement who can counterpunch & "pull the trigger",U can indeed beat Manny.Martinez can do those things,but somehow he's too big.Floyd can also do those things.Mosley just layed the blueprint like Oscar did to Tito.

but mosley neither counterpunched nor pulled the trigger... so what exactly was exposed... when mosley lost every round???

it makes sense because to alot of fans think manny is a super hero yet he didn't look to super against shane,the shane fight showed that manny has not improved that much and basicaly only fights 1 way and the fight showed that manny has problems against opponents that are not coming forward or tryin to walk manny down.

He showed he couldnt cut off the ring if he tried. all mosley was doing was circling left and he made pac miss with wild shots.

The biggest defensive adjustment of Mosley in his fight with Manny, he befriended Manny.... Rounds 10-11, Manny was able to cut-off Mosley with a bad leg when he got angry coz of a bad call from Bayless...

the fight didnt expose Manny but it provided a counter argument that maybe all the previous notions of Manny bulldozing through Floyd with crazy combos may be an impossible feat "IF" Floyd had to survive. actually, if anyone needs to just survive against Pac it seems all you need to do is not engage him and move around and throw a well timed jab every now and again. Im afraid his inability to stop someone once they are on the run is what many are talking about. thats not saying anything bad, since if theres only one man fighting and looking to fight it's just as hard to chase someone than it is to wait for them.
