While a deal might be finalized on the side of Juan Manuel Marquez, adviser Michael Koncz advised BoxingScene.com that Manny Pacquiao has to sign off on several important items related to the fight, including his purse. In the coming days, Koncz will hold a meeting with Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, to discuss the financial details for Manny. After their meeting, Koncz will leave Los Angeles and fly over to the Philippines to review the details with Pacquiao.

Why does anyone even solicit Koncz's opinion on negotiations? This clown just last week said the catchweight for the fight was 145, as he did with Clottey. Also said the Margarito fight was talking place in Abu Dhabi and Pac's fight in Nov this year was being staged in Singapore. Fight is signed, sealed, delivered no matter what this clown's reservations are.
