oh and for the record i thought cotto was piss poor the other nighh technically, though i dont mind him fighting that way as its exciting but if he is anything like that agianst Hatton or mayweather he is gonna get beat up. I think he may have to move up to welter, seems making the weight is messing with his punch resistence.

but to sggest someone who would be giving away every advantage going and isnt particularly known for his defence would beat someon a stone and half heavier (come fight night) and both are world class is sheer ******ity.

There are threads wishing fighters get killed or are disabled when they meet their favoursed charge. Pictures of wheelchairs being posted with comments like thats how calzaghe will get home after meeting lacy.

Perhaps some of you should speak with Patricia page to realise how hard it is for her and greg to get by instead of wishing yet more boxers to be in the same position.

its a shame that you have to wade through 74 threads that have no realism, point or in fact legitimate boxing content to get to the one where you can properly discuss boxing with folk who are open and have little or no bias.

Im fully aware i have a choice not to come here, and i may well take that up, but that would be a massive shame as some folk really are diamonds and ive have made some good acquaintances on here.

Im just not sure the school playground is a place for people who take their boxing seriously, cos thats how this place is starting to become and be viewed by those who do wish to talk boxing not bull****.
I can name a number of good quality posters who are either ****ed off with the present status and dont post or have gone to other sites to have a serious chat with folk with some degree of knowledge.

yeah, i always respect your views here and i always knew you're such a decent person.. no harm done my friend. im just in playful mood today. i won't argue you w/ you about boxing, my knowledge wouldn't match w/ you. i only know what i know and it's very limited to pinoy boxers and some others who made it big in the US soil. im so sorry johnson had to die in that ring, no one knew when is a person going to die. it's safe to say, johnson had enough and if it's your day, it would be your day no matter where you are (i believe in that quote) and it's sad esp. if you like that boxer! me, i don't know him well, i just saw him w/ that chavez' fight but i symphatize w/ some of the fans here who mourns his death. peace!!
