I don't think most people criticized him for weighing too much...it was for not taking his training seriously and coming in out of shape.......

I'll tell you this... I much rather have watched the Arreola fight, than watch another Pacquiao vs Mosley replay.

he was 235 to weigh in for the fight
he threw twice as many punches as he had been throwing
his feet looked quick again
his hands looked fast


and he's actually training now!

it's become common knowledge that arreola was literally disappearing for days on end during camp for the adamek fight


outside of breaking both hands chris gassed


he got off his toes and plodded around the ring

carrying 35 swinging lbs of gut will do that to you


given time, arreola can at least be a serviceable HW for as long as the Klitschko brothers are around
and when they retire he's got the chance to be the HW champion of the world and reign for a long time and make some good cash along the way


say what you want about chris, he has all the makings of a well paid popular and exciting HW and boxing personality


if chris is taking boxing seriously i'm back on the bandwagon
he's as likable a character as you will meet

Yeah after watching his last fight and now this its obvious that hes fully committed to Boxing....

Give him a good year he'll be ready to fight those top HWs again and have a shot to beat them....

theres over 30yrs age differents here. but i feel i grew up with guys like arreola. him and the actor steve segal. when ever i see them i smile. i see the little kid in them. and always think theyre clowning. knowing that they can be quite serious characters.
i don't know its wierd. even when theyre serious i chuckle.
