Does anyone know if the induction ceremony itself will be televised live on Sunday, for those of us who won't be able to get there in person this year? (with "life in the way", as JBell11 put it earlier)

Has it been televised in past years? I would think the Tyson induction alone would make this a TV-worthy event even if it were not traditionally aired on an annual basis.

I noticed on the IBHOF website that Showtime is listed as an official sponsor but haven't seen any promotion of it on the Showtime network or website.

I really doubt any network will televise the entire thing. They never do.
ESPN usually show highlights the following week on FNF's. You may find a few websites that will record it and show it in like a youtube type video.

Its really a shame that all the networks pretty much ignore the HOF week.

The upcoming inductions sounds like it will be great.

I was able to make it to the HOF when I was 15 on a trip to NY. I somehow convinced my mom to stop by as we were driving through the state..lol. There was no special event when I went, just a regular day...but it was a great experience and I learned a lot of boxings past and historical context.

it's not the biggest place, but it houses sooo many great fighters, memorabilia, and other historical pieces...if you're close enough to make a lil road trip out of it, it's def fun. i remember the collection of plastered hands of atg fighters...thought that was crazy when i was younger lol

I live in Toronto, I like to see amateur shows as often as I can, there's not too many in Toronto except the Cabbagetown ones but there's alot in Kitchener or St. Cathrines. You ever come to the Annual Cabbagetown show in September that they do?

Let me know if you bringing some of your guys up here for a show, I'll make the trip to support the amateur guys!

My first year the first boxer I met was Alexis Arguello. On a Wednesday night at Grazis. Then after walking next door was on way back and he and his wife passed me on the street heading over to their hotel. I was like wow, but then after going yearly you come to take this kind of stuff for granted.

He was one of the nicest guys at HOF every year. Sadly now he is gone, but will always remember how friendly he was over the years.
