***Andre ward Vs Prime Joe Calzaghe***

Lol, and Andre Ward hasn't hit his prime yet, only just getting started.

hahaha exactly Ward isn't even at his best yet. Just because he fights similar to Hopkins and is younger I think it'd be just as close of a fight if it happened now. Calzaghe would probably get the nod on slaps again instead of the more solid shots just like he did against Hopkins.

Ward could EASILY overpass Calzaghe as the greatest 168lber ever but he'll most likely move up after he beats up on Froch/Johnson and then schools Bute. He's actually going to go for Legacy in his prime and not wait until the very end of his career to take on old greats. I think when he hits his prime, I'd like Ward to beat Calzaghe.

Calzaghe is a good fighter, I admitt that but he damn sure ain't the God all his fans want to make him out to be. I wouldn't be too mad if people had him top 100 ATG maybe even though I disagree but I wouldn't put him any farther then that. He obviously underachieved.

Calzaghe used to have very good power, but hand problems forced him to change his style and throw big punches all the time.

Calzaghe beat Hopkins, who had just schooled Tarver and beat Wright and went on to school Pavlik.

RJJ was well past his prime, but RJJ was hardly calling Calzaghe out when he was in his prime.

Think RJJ would have always struggles with Calzaghe's work rate.

i don't know maybe he's not only scared of flying but scared of driving! double the calzaghe power! all he needs is a ref to stop his fights whenever he grazes his opponents and he's set for life.
