Is Andre Ward the most complete fighter in boxing?

He is excellent on the inside and very good on the outside with good footwork and handspeed.

I'm not saying he's the best or that he is unbeatable, but is there a more complete fighter in boxing?

    If so, who?

if holding-and-hitting makes you a complete fighter, then I guess ward is a complete fighter.

come on, the ref in the AA fight didn't allow any inside fighting, yet Ward still won comfortably.

I know he's a dirty fighter, but he is very strong all round, more so than any boxer I've seen in the past 12 months.

He is very smart, and on a separate matter, knows how to use his head.

If clinching and headbutting is complete boxing skills, then yes Ward is the most complete boxer.

yeah, but I thought froch did it better.

I think tim bradley is a better all around fighter... he even uses his head better than ward does

Again, the AA fight was fought on the outside, the ref did not tolerate any holding, immediately breaking them up. Yet Ward still dominated.

he did, but I'm not sure Froch has the same inside game

He is a good fighter, but I think he gets overwhelmed by Khan.

imho, tim bradley does everything ward does but better.

bradley has better movement. he doesn't have ward's type of handspeed at super MW at jr WW, but even fast guys have problems with him. timmah can fight coming forward, backwards, side to side... timmeh even uses his headbutts better.

also, timmah has actually hurt guys he's fought despite not having power.

also timmah's stamina and conditioning is better than wards

                  here come the haters!

Oh he can only win because he fights in California with Cali judges and Refs even though the last ref was from Puerto Rico! Bute is MUCH better even though he hasn't fought ANYONE and he only fights in his home town!

Oh ward only wins because he head butts even though he was punching kessler in the face at will and dominated his ass for 7 rounds before a head butt even happened and Abraham got schooled from round 3 to round 12 with no headbutts!

hey lets ignore greatness when we see it because we don't like him cuz he's not the most exciting guy on the planet and/or we are racist and/or we are gay!

                  yeah lets continue being ******s!
