Berto needs to work on alot of things he is very one dimensional...first is hes STANCE...WTF is that??? hes stance is like a Kick boxer its too wide he needs to know how to get it to a balance position so he can move on time without getting hit and still have your legs to punch at full force Mosley used to b really good doing this in hes prime ...second he has to learn how to throw a left hook he cant throw a left hook to save hes soul..Third he has to know how to box and move around develop some sort of Jab and use he legs more ...it seems that he has no discipline at all he gets into wars real easy the guy is fighter first we know that but he has to control hes urge to trade power with power very dangerous what he was doing in the Ortiz fight and didn't he get a mild concussion after the fight??...again Berto has talent but he didnt work on anything cuz of the C & B level opposition was in front of him and he was winning by KO so he idnt have to change anything but now he has to

and lol at Berto getting a TV slot before Martinez.

As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, middleweight champion Sergio Martinez is likely going to return on October 1.

Berto (27-1, 21KOs) vs. Zaveck is going to take place no later than mid-October.

Last time I checked October 1 comes before mid-October,

I'm hoping Zavec doesn't get the Kotelnik treatment, but he's been wanting the Berto fight as well as to fight in America on HBO, so it is what it is.

          War Zavec!

              This article mentions august.

I don't mind the fight but it should be an undercard, same with Williams-Ishida. Manfredo-Vera should not be on HBO.

Finally Berto is fighting top talent. Kinda has 2 now that he lost his belt lol. This will be a tough fight for Berto Zaveck is no slouch. Berto's gonna have to have his defense right cuz Zaveck can punch.

i'm surprised this is getting made all of a sudden. about 6m ago berto or hbo wouldnt even consider this at all. now that he lost to ortiz all of a sudden they have this rolling. obviously berto is a hyped up guy whos just not marketable without a title. a bit weird for an american boxer. speaking of zaveck i saw him at a training camp for school kids here in slovenia, this weekend and he looked to be in amazing form. i couldnt really talk to him but its not a big deal as he probably doesnt know much more than the public. as he usually says everyone has their job to do and his job is boxing not management.
and yeah i understand and he understands hes going to be robbed in berto fight. like he did in both jackiewicz fights and would have been in hlatswayo if it werent for the ko. zaveck knows if hes to win he has to to do so convincingly on evey fight ,and this will be the toughest guy berto has faced so far i can assure you.
