Probably because Arum's waiting for his court cases to clear. In other words, there are still things Arum sees as a hurdle, even though it didn't stop Floyd from fighting Vic

Yeah, I found that ironic myself considering it was SCHAEFER who said Floyd couldn't fight Manny because of his trials.

“People should be smart enough to realize that he’s in the middle of legal proceedings. His focus and energy is on that, clearing his name, not on making a fight. That’s just common sense," Schaefer said.

“Anything else would be disrespectful to a judge or the legal system. … He could say, OK, let’s fight Pacquiao in May or whenever and make a deal. How would a judge feel about that? You just don’t do that.

        Interesting indeed.

But you still didn't address my questions- if he was in fact saving that trick or treat outfit for Manny, why did he bust it out for Ortiz? And did he ever produce the 'signed fight contract' like he said he would?

Was floydhype just putting words in his mouth?

He figured since pacquiao doesn't want the fight he will wear it for another opponent. when have you known floyd to have an outfit a year and a half in advance. Richard said that when mayweather was absent from the sport, he has come back and fought. said he had the best legal team to handle that. thats a non issue. truth be told richard and GBP weren't talking with mayweather at the time. better question would be why does bob care? when Richard was saying all this he was only concerned with saying mayweather turned down huge sums of money. when has a promoter gone public with negotiations. he is obviously trying to paint a picture. All you seem to be good at is taking quotes from people and highlighting them in red. Tell me this. if pac and bob wanted to fight why just abruptly end the first negotiation, i recall arum saying no more not GBP or mayweather. there is no time clock on negotiations if you are willing to fight.

Cute quotes. However, there's video out there stating Arum saying the court cases are road blocks. After he said there would be none. However, do you believe Floyd called Arum and stated those were road blocks in making a fight? Neither do I. I can only imagine Bob's appeal in making this fight happening seeing how he had a premeditated plan about having Bradley as a backup in case the negotiations fell apart

Now. Why not use it if it's been over 2 years since this fight with Manny has been in a stalemate? Surely, at some point, you have to use it, right? Are we really questioning his intent on having it prepared for Manny? Is he now a liar of some sort because he used it for Vic? As far as the contract goes, most likely a lot of big talk. That's what you get from both sides regarding thsi fight. A lot of talk, little to no bite.

I only wonder why Arum is so worried about Floyd's cases now that he has no fight lined up and a possible 2012 fight with Manny could and should be on the horizon. Any thoughts on that, Prince?

Wait, wait, wait. Hold up a damn minute. hold up. Lemme see if I'm following your train of thought here... So you're saying that while Floyd was on 'vacation' and not thinking about boxing he figured, Pacquiao doesn't want to fight even though I have no indication of that because negotiations never happened, so I might as well wear the outfit I've been saving for that fight for the Ortiz fight? That's what you're telling me?

Early projections are ALWAYS 25%+ higher than the actual number. I'd suggest you make your peace with this place and get your goodbyes out the way.

I think people are reading too much into it. Its quite simple to me. He was saving it for the Pac fight but no one had seen it. Even in the vid his bodyguard & Floyd were talking about how he never lets anyone see his outfit. So then when he showed it in the vid, he didnt want to wear that one for the Pac fight anymore so he might as well use it in his next fight since everyone's now seen it

When a guy refuses testing for whatever reason even when you give them 14 days thats a sign of not wanting to fght. Notice how these offers no longer come up now that floyd is back fighting. He had the **** in a a ****ing bin obviously saving it for something. Ortiz was at 140 when the outfit was made(guess). Explain why arum stop negotiations claiming pacquiao was offended. If he doesn't want to be dictated to tell him to stop asking for that 10 mil weight penalty. floyd never came in over the 147 limit. both him and pacquiao failed to make weight one time in their careers. Manny is broke as **** and gets cash advances. why would he turn down a huge some of money because of pride? doesn't even make a damn lick of sense.
Why the hell is koncz still apart of manny's team when roach and ariza don't like him. Why Pacquiao says its money splits and arum says its mayweathers court cases, while koncz still says its testing? PRINCE!!!
