Judging by his latest performance, I'd hazard a guess that Pavlik needs atleast a couple more bouts against average or slightly above average opposition just to get himself re-acclimatized to the fight game. I don't feel he is ready for the step up in class, just yet. Opponents such as Sartison should be on the short-list though.

i think he will be ready for a title shot within his next coupke of fights definatley, he needed to get rid of that ring rust and also personal problems so he should put up a good performance in his next fight

Now that Abraham is outta of the super 6, maybe he can fight him. They were suppose to meet when they were both mw champ but it never happen so if they are ever gonna meet, now is the time.

He should do a few more small fights.

Brian Vera, Julio Ceaser Chavez,Felix Sturm and Dimitry Pirog at Middleweight.
He should fight Andre Ward, James Degale and even Carl Froch at sup.Middleweight. Don't underestimate Pavliks abilities.
