Comments Thread For: Farhood's Take on Cotto, Canelo, Khan-Bradley, Chavez

In the first part of my interview with Showtime analyst Steve Farhood, he weighed in with his thoughts on why people in boxing still prefer Floyd Mayweather Jr. as the next logical opponent for Manny Pacquiao despite Juan Manuel Marquez getting the nod this coming November. Farhood was adamant about his belief that Mayweather doesn't necessarily fear Pacquiao yet still was befuddled as some of his recent actions. [Click Here To Read More]

Reaction to the recent fallout between WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan and WBC and WBO boss Timothy Bradley...

"Very surprised. You know, if Tim Bradley wants to be a superstar, that's the kind of fight he needs. Now, does he think he is going to get Manny? I don't know. I don't think he can say that for sure. From what I have read I heard he was offered $1.3 [million] and he said no. That's a lot of money. Especially given the fact that Devon Alexander and Bradley did lousy TV ratings, didn't draw a good crowd. So, I was very surprised and disappointed."

    Bradley's motives...

"I think he's maybe overestimating his value. I don't think he necessarily sees anything in Khan. Tim Bradley is a very good fighter and I don't think he has to fear anybody. With that said, of all the 140-pounders, Khan is the guy I like the most. I think he's the most talented."
Bradley just got by another neutral observer.

Only 'Deserted B*tch' fans claim that Bradley did the wise thing not to fight Amir.

Man Bradley has lost alot of respect for pulling this gayweather crap... He is dreaming of Manny without having paid his dues by cleaning out his own division first, and to top it off he has a boring no sell style.

Who the f**k is Steve Farhood? Another man with an opinion. I use to respect this dude a little until I read the "Khan is more talented than Bradley" BS. Khan should have a 10th round stoppage on his record to go along with that 1st round stoppage. Bradley wipes the floor with A mere Con cause that's just what this clown is. Note to Bradley: You better have this dude submit to OST. I'm just saying....................

Bradley just beat a guy that is better than khan, way better in fact. Didn't khan get knocked out in the first round? lol does this guy even deserve a shot at Bradley's titles?
