PACQUIAO ala HENRY ARMSTRONG: "Lost to the Middlweight MARTINEZ"

There was a time when Pacquiao

was too small for De la Hoya,
    was too small for Cotto,
    was too small for Clottey,
    was too small for Margarito,
    was too small for Mosley.

Will Pacquiao try to be like Henry Armstrong,
    scaling the original weight classes,
only to be stopped by a full blown middleweight?

    Henry Armstrong
    World Featherweight Champion
    World Lightweight Champion
    World Welterweight Champion
ATTEMPT: World Middleweight - LOST to a Filipino

    Manny Pacquiao
    WBC Flyweight champion
    IBF/WBC Super featherweight/bantamweight + Lineal Featherweight
    WBC Lightweight champion
    WBO Welterweight champion
ATTEMPT: World Middleweight - LOST TO an Argentinian??? Martinez??!

he won't fight for the MW championship it would be at a catch weight of 150-154 but Pacquiao would definitely go up on my list.. if he beat him or at least made it competitive

Pac has moved up enough now. He is 5ft6 and moved up from flyweight. SRL fought Hagler who was shorter and SRL is supposedly the business because of it. SRL was 5ft10 so moving to middleweight is hardly a huge step is it?

Not to mention SRL got Hagler when Hagler was showing shop worn signs, whereas Martinez seems to be at his peak.

Martinez and Margarito are the same size,
        150 lbs. catch weight then,
        a real light middleweight championship,
        let's get it on!

ON SECOND THOUGH: Light middleweight is NOT an original weight class.

have you seen their build? its obvious Martinez has the bigger build ..

at 150 he would be drained ... it'd still see it though and favor Maravilla

You know most people think Armstrong was robbed against Garcia right ?, also the fight was called a draw, not a loss.

Garcia and Armstrong met twice. That's why I'm making comparison.

                Welterweight
Garcia vs Armstrong = Armstrong WINNER
Pacquiao vs Martinez = Pacquiao WINNER (too big a weight drop for Martinez)

                Middlweight
Garcia vs Armstrong = DRAW (Controversial)

Their second fight is a lot like the 2nd fight of Pacquiao vs Marquez. Some thought Ceferino won because judge was biased of Armstrong being American, while others though Henry really did enough to win.

I personally think Ceferino won. This is just an opinion, and you can disagree of course.

                Light Middlweight
                Pacquiao vs Martinez = ???

                  LAST FIGHT WEIGH-IN
Pacquiao vs Mosley = Manny at 145 lbs.
Martinez vs Dzinziruk = Sergio at 158¾

                  That's 13 LBS. DIFFERENCE ON WEIGH-IN
Imagine the weight difference on fight night
