Are you asking a guy who's 36 years old, who started his career as a WW in his 20s, to move up to LHW when he's already a small MW? Seriously?

You do realize it's ALOT easier to start off your career in your teens as a FW, and move up to WW than it is to start your career in your late 20s as a WW and go up to LHW right?

All I'm asking is for Sergio to focus on the matchups in his own damn divisions.

I think the tread title is misleading. What exactly are the best fight for fans.Does that consist of Martinez a small middleweight moving up to 168 & more & fighting the top guys in those weight classes??

While the other 2 top fighters in boxing cherrypick old, shot welterweights??Or vacation constantly??Then when they do decide to fight at 154 pick the shottest, biggest cheaters for title farces??

But I do agree that Martinez should forget about them.Ones irrelevent & the other gets pass after pass to beat old shot fighters.Even when the fight ends up being a dud,he still is immune to criticizm.Martinez is too good(they've seen his last 2 fights),after all.

in fairness to martinez, if i was in his situation wherein i could fight a much smaller man and get MILLIONS in the process.... i'd take it.

and also in fairness to martinez, unlike floyd, he's still out there negotiating to fight OTHER challengers.

If Martinez wants to be considered the p4p best then who else would/should he be calling out apart from Floyd and Manny? He'd get alot more criticism if he wasnt calling them out because then he'd be considered to be "ducking" them. If Martinez can make LM then i dont see how a fight with Floyd would be impossible, imo Martinez (out of the three) is actively seeking and fighting the better fighters.
