Does anybody still think Margarito can beat Mayweather?

First of all, this is obviously just talk considering the fact that Margarito may not fight again, but I never thought he would beat Floyd in the first place to be honest.

I'm still interested in it just of the novelty. I always wondered how Floyd would do against a pressure fighter that won't allow him to fight in his own pace. Styles make fights after all.

Who knows, we'll never find out as Floyd won't take the fight.

Recurring theme, 'Floyd won't take the fight'.

Fantasy fights will forever be attached to Floyd's career. He never loses in fantasy fights.

I never thought Margarito could beat any real good boxers. As you can see with Santos 2x, Williams, Mosley and Pacquiao. He can beat fighters like Cotto, Cintron, and fighters who basically can't fight for a full 12 rounds.

He was overhyped because Mayweather left Top Rank, so Arum needed to build up his next cash cow. Cotto was in the making, so Margarito was being build up to be this vicious, plastering, maniac, then Santos stopped that train for a little while, then Williams stopped that train again, Margarito beat Cotto finally a top fighter, then once again Mosley calmed the hype down once and for all. Pacquiao put the nail in the coffin.
