..you guys are wetting your pants that he survived (and barely in the ring and on the scorecards). Seriously, no flaming, but how can you be happy that he won when he went down three times against a green fighter and held the whole night. My thing is, when you're fighting Lewis' fight against Tua/Tyson, don't get knocked down because you're not exchanging.

It shows me how little faith Wlad fans had in him when they get real elated that a) Wlad survived to the end and b) he got the decision. Just think Wlad the boxer barely won by three points against a KO artist like Peter.

To me he had to answer to things. His chin and endurance/stamina. His endurance was answered tonight, seemed like he trained right. But his chin (and balls) are very shaky. There is no way in hell, somebody 6'6 should be scared to trade and that was Wlad.

I agree, in many ways Wlad won the fight but further damaged his rep in terms of being a world class fighter. i think we all know that Wlad probably could never dominate the division unless it was void of punchers!

lewis was 6'5" and he was scared to trade.

regardless of weather or not peter is green, hes still dangerous. sometimes its better to be one than the other.

the first two KDs shouldnt have counted cuz they were pushes and hits behind the head.

but i dont think wlad needs to prove anything else. he cant prove that he has an IRON chin. he cant prove that he has endless stamina. some things you got and some things you dont got.

wlad showed his heart, stamina and chin... he got knockdown(although some of the KD were not legit) but he didnt stay down and he didnt go down everytime peter landed a punch... everybody knows he doesnt have a great chin, but he showed that its not completely glass either... this was a better result for wlad than if he just blew out peter in 2 rounds...

prior to this fight few people would have thought wlad could go the distance against a big puncher pressuring him and then get up from knockdowns to win the fight...

His balls are shaky? Getting up from two illegal knockdowns, and a knockdown in the 10th to come back and win makes you have shaky balls? His problem wasn't so much chin, as panicking. You saw that he got straight up and even in his fight against Sanders, he was never really hurt, he just didnt know what to do, hopefully he will improve in that area.

Wlad the 6'6 boxer should easily be able to go the distance. People are acting like Wlad is a regular height heavy weight. This dudes a monster. If Lewis was still here, he'd eat Wlad alive.

He was so assured that WLad was gonna loose that he was making bets with everyone I saw offering!

I also dont like people being hyped because of their skin color. Wlad hasnt looked good in four years and he was still on TV. HBO dropped Mosley after losing to Forrest twice. Might I add Forrest is a better caliber fighter than Corrie "Beer Belly" Sanders and Lamon "Who" Brewster.
