    Gonzalez TKO's Telesco in 8th

Julio Gonzalez defeated David Telsco by way of an 8th round TKO tonight at Staples Center. Why does it seem like so many people disrespect Gonzalez? He was one of only three opponents to go the distance and not get shut out by a pre Ruiz RJJ during his stay at LHW. The other two being McCallum and Del Valle. Del Valle basically only didn't get shut out because he KD'd Jones. He was also able to beat a shot/declining DM which both Hall and Harmon among others were not able to do. Did anyone see the fight and was it a legitimate TKO? If so this is the first time Telsco has ever been TKO'd.

Which basically makes Erdei who nearly owned Gonzalez as badly as RJJ did look that much better.

erdei though needs some other comp to prove his worthiness. gonzo might have had a bad night or erdei is the future of the division he still needs to prove himself either way

I agree. I'd like to see him come over here and fight for the IBF, WBC, and WBA belts and not just hord the WBO over there like DM did. Though his two defenses have been against Garay and Lakatus who both seem to be pretty decent especially Garay.

Because Gonzalez like most of Roy's opponents before him went into the ring scared.
