    The EVOLUTION OF Boxing

I was watching the Pac v Mosley fight and I found it interesting when the commentator said Bob Arum had learned some new methods of selling the fight through the way UFC sell their product. I was wondering now that the fight is over, we didn't really get an accurate or a very explained segment about what happened from the fighters/trainers/promoter in the ring apart from the mere simple he punched very hard or he was very good things like that...

The MMA organisations have interviewers like Ariel Helwani/Karyn Bryant and others who are given post-fight interviews with the fighters/promoters/trainers and really give an insight in what went down in the fight and leading up to it, I was wondering why doesn't boxing have someone like that? I remember BoxingScene had a reporter (Bald Guy) who used to get interviews pre-fight from the fighters, why can't a boxing website do something like this, i.e. in Video format...

A good quality, proper interview with the details on what went down. I really wasn't a big UFC or MMA fan before last year but the way they promote their fights and really cater to the fans in ways boxing doesn't at the moment.

Another example of their excellent promotion which Boxing should pick up on:

I don't think old man Bob Arum would do this because he is getting on now, it takes some effort and he will probably just like his business just how it is now. I think GoldenBoy at least should do some of these pre-fight blogs when they promote one of their cards, I think it would be excellent.

These types of promotions get hundreds of thousands of views from the UFC...

I appreciate what Elie Sechbach does i.e. cover boxing but his interviews are kind of lame imo, his voice is annoying, his camera quality sucks and he seems to just hang around two boxing gyms all the time (WildCard and Garcias gym)..seems like an A-Class suck up just so he can get into the gym.

Personally I think we need an Ariel Helwani type of figure for Boxing, someone who isn't afraid to ask tough questions and is backed by a website which can pay for travel so he can attend all the major events.

Now that the fight is finished, are there even any Youtube channels that I can go to and get good post-fight analysis/interviews/thoughts on what went down? BTW Just to let you guys know, I am a HUGE boxing fan but its a shame that their marketing for fights really sucks in comparison to the UFC, they could learn a thing or two from those guys.
