What is impressive about Wards resume? Ward head butted and fouled Kessler into submission and anywhere else in the world would have been DQ.Ward won v the mighty Green and looked pretty terrible going 12 rounds against Bika and Arthur all in his backyard. I see nothing exceptional, just a protected over hyped American. I suppose you Yanks don't have any boxing superstars so you have to over hype Ward. Shameful really.

1.) The bold is complete fiction; Kessler got the **** beat out of him for almost 8 full rounds and was already looking sorry for himself before a significant (ie. damaging) head-clash even occured.

And, as you saw last night, fighters have to deal with cuts and bleeding caused by head clashes and show their Championship colours regardless - fact is, though Kessler tried his best, Ward had his number.

What did Joe Calzaghe look like against Bika? Quite arguably less accomplished than Ward did.
