The Marquez camp inserted the clause regarding the fine on weight issue after being deceived by Floyd Mayweather Jr. in their fight two years ago. Marquez and Floyd Jr. also fought at a catch-weight of 144 pounds with a corresponding fine in case the brash-talking American failed to meet the agreed weight.

Floyd did exceed the catch-weight, coming in at 146 pounds and paying the fine reportedly amounting to $500,000. But he refused to be re-weighed on the day of the fight, resulting in speculations that he might have weighed 150 or more when he inflicted Marquez a severe beating for 12 full rounds.

    floyd you dirty bastard

Why is Pac only offering a 1 million per pound weight penalty when he demanded 10 million from Floyd? hmmmmmmmmm

because floyd is 10 times more likely to cheat at the scales based on his past misdeed.

          simple no?

Pacquiao also came in overweight for a fight, and it was for a title fight too. so therefore Pac has cheated too, no?

How much money is at stake in a Pacquiao-JMM fight as compared to a Pacquiao-Mayweather match? I know you can't be this dense, put it together....

Misleading article. Marquez only gets the 4th bout if he wins their 3rd meeting.
