i think arreola, even though hes not that great can be a champion if klitschkos and haye arent around... solis could come again maybe he showed quick hands and some boxing iq so if he trains like a beast he could be a top heavyweight maybe..... thoughts? anyone else? tyson fury maybe?

Solis is an undisciplined unmotivated lardarse with a possibly career ending leg injury. I don't expect to ever hear great things from this guy.

Arreola can become a decent contender, maybe even nab a title or so if the stars align for him, but if he does it won't be for long as he'll be both getting on in years and lacking in the skills to fend off any half-decent challenger who happens to come along (Chambers or one of the upcoming Europeans). Nice to see he might have rededicated himself though. Hope it lasts.

The aforementioned Chambers would have a good shot of getting a title as he's both quick and highly skilled. His only drawbacks are his lack of size and pop. Unfortunately he'd also be getting on in years by the time Wlad retired so it might be a short reign if he gets it.

Helenius and Pulev both have good shots at doing well in the near future. They have the size and the power to take on anyone and have already amassed an impressive string of victories between them. They both have flaws that others can explot though, and Pulev looks as if he might be having discipline issues.

Adamek would be at retirement age himself by the time Wlad retires, and with his style of fighting I don't expect him to age well.

Mike Perez might be someone to watch out for. Still undecided on him though.

If Price or even (lol) Tyson Fury pass the tests that lay ahead of them they might have a slight chance of nabbing a title. Price is by far the better prospect though, which is why I'm slightly annoyed Steward didn't choose to train him instead. Oh well.

Deontay Wilder is, sad to say, looking increasingly like a Friday night bumbeater. At best he'll be another Michael Grant.

The man with the size and some of the heaviest hands in the division right now is Robert Helenius. I expect big things from him -- he's still relatively young for today's heavyweight division.

Denis Boytsov also has great potential, if he can avoid injuring his hands every fight.

Arreola can make some noise if he sticks with his current regime and doesn't go off the rails again.

          Spongebob Solis? Fugghedaboutit.

Its going to be interesting, Mike Perez looked very good winning Prizefighter, Solis has all the talent in the world but obviously no love for the sport, David Price could be one to watch but still needs to be tested.

Boytsvov and maybe Povetkin if he fires Teddy atlas and gets a real coach.

I dont get this Mike Perez hype, WoW He won the Prizefighter! What a prestigious event full of taxi drivers and bums. It pains me everytime I watch prizefighter. From the horrible judging to the horrible Refs, to the horrible C level fighters.

Am I saying he cant be a great fighter? Not at all. Just people here getting on his cawk after he wins Prizefighter. Theres a reason he fought in Prizefighter and didnt have a real fight. Look at Fraudley Harrison lol.

All I know is that the next HW Champ will be someone from the old soviet bloc of countries or a Cuban or German.

Altho Im still a big fan of Eddie Chambers and Samuel Peter.

HW is what Boxing is all about, everyone loves the Heavyweights, thats where the real men are. People in lower weight classes cry and moan about a few lb diffirence but the HW's can fight 30-40 lbs lighter like real men.

I admire Sam Peter because he will mix it up with anyone. Peter is going to be more of a gatekeeper now: and Helenius recently kicked that gate to the ground.

I agree with you: I still love the HW division the best. All the b*tching and moaning about it has become more of a lazy cliche than anything else, as the division is livening up these days and getting stronger.

Ye teddy atlas has totally ruined povetkins career even if he would have lost to wlad and had a couple of decent fights after he would be in a better position than he is now
