The shadow of doubt will only exist for hardcore boxing fans. I think the general public and arm chair sports fans dont really care about the testing issue.

I think Pacs acheivements and overall impact on the sport will drown out any real doubts or controversies as time goes by. If anything the biggest shadow is the fact that for whatever reason, the fight against Floyd didnt happen.

I also think Floyds reputation as a boxer will grow in the decades to come. His skills and achievements will over shadow the criticism and hostility directed at his character we see today.

Too simple in your thinking and naive. If he passes the test for Mayweather that is only passing it for one fight. What about all his other career defeating everyone else?
Passing a test for Floyd means nothing.

And i also believe Pac taking the test wont suddenly stop the controversy if he loses to Floyd.

If he loses to Floyd after agreeing to random testing it may make people believe even more so that Pac juiced in his other big fights.

lol.. whatever man.. If he performs to his characteristic high standard against Mayweather, even if Pac loses he still erases all su****ion.. no past fights can be questioned if he takes the test and is still looking like the same old Pacquiao.. it's only if he takes the test, comes out clean and then his performance is significantly deteriorated (his punch output, stamina, movement, resilience, speed, power etc..) - THATS when the past fights will be brought into question..

Why would he need to flush them out if there's no super peds that will give you a boost in 4-5 days without training LMAO.

lol.. like i said if he makes personalized changes there will still remain doubts in some people's minds.. if he does the normal olympic style drug test with no changes he will remove all doubt..

What doubt...LOL. What peds will give PAC a boost in 4-5 days that will turn him into a monster without training. You do know that the last week of training boxer trim and slow down on their workout to relax for preparation for their fight right.

No it won't.Floyd used that as a tactic to soil Pacman's accomplishments.Floyd isn't a counsil,he's a fighter. He does not make up testing rules.

i know it originated mainly from Floyd Sr.. but now it's out there in the public arena and has been for quite a while.. like i say, it's unfair, but the reality is that the drug test issue is now a question hanging over pacquiao's legacy because it's been so widely and extensively discussed.

I don't think so. You have accusations coming from a family of haters and criminals. These people that are accusing Pac have less credibility than Jean Pascal.

Because I suppose Hopkins refusing OST is going to soil his reputation right?
