Let's be real, how many really watch a chess match?

To a person who doesn't know much about boxing,
          technical boxers are scared.
Not true JMM is a technical fighter and hes one of the most entertaining boxers to watch IMO...

Wards fights aren't something you're going to get excited about or remember in a week or two... but if you like boxing you like all types of fights even very technical ones...

i.e. Sweet pea, Mayweather, Ward etc

although you can't really compare those fights to stuff like Hagler -Hearns , Barrera - Morales I etc

            he hasn't fought the best.

the best are ward/froch/bute/(possibly dirrell/glen johnson).

he's fought good comp at smw but not the best.

Ward will never be anything but a Amateur Style fighter. He doesnt have the power to knock people out on a constant basis. He never takes any risk. He does the minimum to get the win.

This is the reason why nobody came to see him fight yesterday in his own back yard.

These slick young americans are always jelous that mexicans and europeans have so many fans and hate on them but what they dont realize is that the fans just want to see a great fight where both fighters give it their all, regardless of the winner.

If you lose in an epic fight than you will gain more fans/respect than if you would run around pot shotting/headbutting/low blowing to constant boring wins.

Is it any suprise that he and his slick young brethren cant even sell out his own citys arena? Chris Arreola brought more people last night.

This wont change until the slick young americans stop being LAZY and doing the bare minimum to win.

When was the last time you saw a Young Slick American give it his all and was ready to die in the ring? Like the Segura FOTY, Diego Corales trilogy, hell even the Arce-Vazques fight? Tell me.

                Diego Corrales, where's he from?

wtf is wrong with you? Tim Bradely V Kendall Holt? Pwiilly V Sergio I????
USS Cunningham vs anyone. Or do these not count cuz they're not "slick?"
                Malignaggi V Cotto/Hatton.

Ummm. I didnt realize Malignaggi was a slick young black boxer. Hes got Itallian in him
                  Corales is mexican.

and if you think USS Cunningham left it all in the ring and gave it his all then you are delusional, where is he now?

The only person who did give it his all was Paul Williams for 1 fight. I actually like Pwill, hes not a coward like all the other young "slick" boxers.

He's been very unlucky due to the style clashes, but he did exactly what he was suppose to. Green's soft, his unwillingness to try forced Ward to push the action, one guy was working where as the other stood there and took his beating. Then we have Bika, he's dirty, extremely rugged, Ward had to play him close and counter with short punches. You can't get too comfortable with Bika, he's wild. Like I said, he did what he had to do, he isn't blessed with the size and heavy hands most of the fighters in the tourney are blessed with.

Froch vs. Ward is gonna be a good one.
