Contrary to a number of reports, undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather has once again denied rumors about a potential return to the ring to face WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz later this year. "You're constantly hearing different rumors that Floyd is fighting this guy, Floyd is fighting that guy; at this particular time, I'm not fighting anyone," Mayweather stated during a recent exclusive interview with FightHype.com.

When asked if the rumors were true about a September 17th fight with Ortiz at Cowboys Stadium, Mayweather replied, "Absolutely not! Absolutely not! I think Victor Ortiz, he's a young, strong fighter, but the thing is this...the stories that you hear are lies, lies, lies! Period!"

Just watched the Mayweather After Dark episode 6, and when the interviewer mentioned the rumor of Mayweather vs Ortiz... I couldn't have been the only person who saw this...

Did you see the look on Mayweather's face? Immediately after the Fighthype guy brings it up, it's almost as if Floyd's face gets a "How the **** did that get out so quick?" look, and then he goes straight into denial mode

I might be looking too much into it, that's just what I saw. I can generally spot somebody who is lying or bull****ting, and to be honest most people can, it's not that hard to do really, he looked like he was hiding the facts with that response

I wouldn't be surprised to hear this confirmed, but at the same time I could see Ortiz' handlers keeping him far away from PBF until he's at least a year older with some easy win fights ahead of a mayweather fight

Also, off topic, Floyd has serious psychological issues. Everything he says, everything he argues for and stands for screams "I'm the poor black man, that gets no respect."

When he started comparing dog fighting to hunting deer and rabbits, amongst other things (saying Ben Roethlisberger's situation was handled with a slap on the wrist, and yet Kobe's wasn't. Bull****, they both got away with that ****, Kobe wasn't roasted on the coals any more or less than Big Ben was.) I almost lost it, the dude has NO CLUE what's going on in this world at all!

He can't apply real logic to anything he says (Because there isn't any logic behind anything he stands for) so he convinces himself that the fallacies he speaks are actually truthful, legitimate points that deserve acknowledgement

Sorry for the rant, but my God, this dude has lost his mind. Just get back in the ****ing ring man, as a fan of yours... this is depressing as ****
