    Wuts da Difference?

While watching Arthur vs Ward, it was said that Arthur moved up weight to fight in the super six tourney(meaning he moved from 160 to 168), after dominating the middle weight division.

Now we got Maravilla dominating the junior/MW division. With his skills that he possesses, why can't he make the jump and put on a show? I do understand that it might or is his age and wants to get a hefty bag of dollars, but I think he can actually compete at SMW.

Again, just asking, what's the difference?

Maybe he will in 2012. He's not gonna face Ward or Froch in 2011.

Sergio could hold his own but it would be a tall order against the top 3-4 guys.

I honestly believe he can compete. Question is, is there $$$ out there for him at SMW?

Notice also how AA went from over 30 wins and undefeated at MW to 3 losses in his last 4 fights at SMW? Martinez would fair better as he does not transform into a non-existent heavybag replacement.

And that's why I say that with his skills he can compete. He has movement, has jab, nice footwork. I think he can do pretty good.

I agree, once this tourney is over with, maybe he will have to move up as a last resort. He will be very small in comparison to most of the SMW guys stature-wise. His athletic ability and skill level may allow him to compete though.

MW division is just weak. Honestly sergio would not even make it 1 fight into the super6
