    Ward-Hopkins anyone?

What a great fight that would be. And opn a side not why do these guys assume Abraham would do any better at middleweight? Pavlik-Abraham should be the next fight.

Based on what I saw tonight, I think Ward would take Hopkins to the wood shed. But then again, Ward doesn't seem to be a heavy hitter- so Bernard could walk through the shots, then unload on some of his own.

They should make Ward-Hopkins and sell it as a cure to insomnia cuz that will put you to sleep within 3 rounds. Put ward in with Froch or Bute, dont give him another old man.

I think Ward would nick a decision over Bernard. A bit too young and speedy. And equally as crafty. Unlike Pascal, Ward isnt a spurt fighter. Pascal is strictly an ambush fighter, easier to dissect, especially since he only fights in spots. Ward can beat you in a variety of ways, inside/outside, and keeps a steady workrate.

Ward and Hopkins are very similar.

But Hopkins didn't fight like that until he was in his 40s.

I think Ward is kind of pathetic to be using those tactics at his age.

Yeah but it would be a great way to pass the torch if Ward won or a great milestone for Hopkins if he won. It;s a win-win fight in my opinion.

                Ward couldn't even KO Miranda.

When Hopkins was younger, he stopped some durable fighters like Glen Johnson.

But i would love it because it would be the ultimate chess match
