Margarito vs Martinez: What has change?

Martinez fighting Margarito now would be the equivalent of Pac fighting Singsurat or Torrecampo now. Maritinez would beat his ass from pillar to post just like Pac would avenge his former losses. And it would be a waste of his time which seeing how he is at 35 he doesn't have much left. Not only that but he would get no credit for it whatsoever. These Pac fans that keep bringing this up would just criticize him more for the win and rightfully so since Marg is damaged goods. They bring this **** up cuz they're pissed that Martinez has been calling out their god and they can't stand it.

Margo can't do a thing right now and you know it. That dude has been through some pretty bad beatings from Mosley and Pac. Even Cotto got in some pretty damaging shots before he lost. Fighters with Margs style don't last long in boxing. Hell, even the doctors don't want that guy to fight anymore. He has to go get a second opinion.

Martinez is 35 now so every fight he has from now on has to be against world class competition. Right now Marg is nowhere near that. He's done made enough money and needs to retire.

Martinez had no amateur career at all and was still green and learning on the job. Now, he uses movement much more than he did then and he is an excellent counter puncher plus he knows how to tie up very well when things get rough. Back then, he didn't know what do if the other guy got in on him. If they fought now, Martinez would whoop Margarito silly either by stoppage or wide, wide UD.

two bad beatings since being the longest reigning ww champion at that time.......does'nt make you shot to ****,the willaims loss was hardly a beating ...he really just got beat by fighters who were just bad styl match up for him like margo was to sergio ..... now , if the doctor says he can no longer fight then thats another story..

Obviously his physical side and experience.

But in the Marg fight he seems to use all the trick that he uses now.

His jab an use of it is much better now.

Oh I can give you that. The Marg that Martinez fought back then was not a prime Marg. But you know something else. The Marg of today isn't a prime Marg neither. Yep. The Marg back then was before his prime and the Marg of today is past his prime. I guess Martinez must have miss out on that boat. You can't honestly sit there and tell me that the current Margarito is a 100% in his prime fighter. No way. Not after the punishment this guy has been through. Like I said it would be a waste of Sergio's time.
