Wow does every gd PBF/Pac thread turn into some freaking *****fest by you *****s/*******s?

WTF is wrong with you people?

Anyways, Floyd's inactivity is going to be his worse enemy. Also his leg work has slowed down a little but not to the degree that would be detrimental to him. IMO his problem will be his lack of perceived KO power. Boxers who are known for speed usually also develop power (the great ones) so when the speed starts to slip they still have the power to fall back on. Sadly I don't think Floyd has "that" kind of power to fall back on (not saying he has zero KO power but it isn't something that he can depend on at WW).

At this point who knows he hasn't fought in over a year @ he most likey won't be fighting this year boxers like him who rely on speed and reflexes need reps to remain sharp and being inactive and getting on in years certainly don't help so naturally yes the older he gets the less quicks he's gonna have but to what extent that's anybodies guess?

Since when has Floyd ever known to relied on pure power to wins fights? When his speed is gone, he has his timing to rely on. Hopkins doesn't have KO power either, but he still wins fight because of his ring IQ and technical skills. Floyd is not like Roy Jones who relied on his speed, power, and athleticism. When those special gifts faded, he had nothing else to relied on. Floyd can still fight until he's in his 40's, and he'd still be able to compete against upcoming future WW prospects.

Fighters like, Floyd, JMM, Hopkins, Glen Johnson, Ward, ect can last very long in this sport because they mostly relied more on their ring smarts than their physical gifts.
