    Contradiction From Teddy.

Alright Teddy, I agree with you Manny now needs better competition. But his comment "Delahoya was dead at the weigh-in, Cotto dead at the weigh-in, Hatton tailor made, Margorito dead at the weigh-in, Hatton tailor made." The best fighters in history have always moved up and won by a catchweight." Well isn't that what Manny done? Isn't that what Manny's done? Didn't you say in the same sentence catchweights were bad? But now you want him to take a catchweight fight with Sergio? I hear your arguements but don't contradict yourself.

Manny needs better competition. But if your 'for' what you just argued against it makes no sense and you look like a hater or just a plain moron.

You are right - Man Teddy IS a walking contradiction. He pretends like he is some kind of old school badass who doesn't know how to use "the internet", and he constantly tries to belittle his brainier colleagues when they point something out or call him on his contradictions like you just did.

i bet he's sitting in his McMansion right now in some crocs in a robe trolling the web for threads about him, waiting to get on his favorite **** website

Teddy is a typical East-Coast NY City Slicker, Boxing establishment Elitist.

He loves himself New York Gym full of young, sweaty black kids/would be fighters. Probably has wet dreams of big NFL African-Americans being Heavyweight Boxers. This is the same hard-on that Roger Mayweather has for Mid-Western fighters. It's not exactly Nationalism, but even worse.

He can't stand the fact that fighters from other continents are kicking ass in a sport that evolved for decades with great African-American fighters leading the charge.

So Wlad Klitschko and Manny Pacquiao are on his (S)hit-list, throwing passive-aggressive criticism at them every chance he gets. Probably upsets him because deep inside, he knows that a Boxing Trainer with a philosophy and training style like his, would have nothing to offer if he were their trainer. All famous boxing trainers have this attitude, (I.E. FLoyd Mayweather Senior) that if they were training a elite fighter, they would improve them. It's that insecurity that drives him. And now he is trying to impose that East-Coast slick philosophy on a Eastern-Europan named Povetkin, and is too stubborn & proud to admit that it's not working. I can't wait until Povetkin gets beat under his watch.

Feel free to make a thread out of this post and spread the message.

Teddy is a hater, plain and simple. He just mad he has to go to Indian Reservations and do shows on ESPN2 (soon to be ESPN3) while Nacho,Roach and Steward have world class athletes and he doesnt have anyone.

He kept crying about fighters being protected and wanting to put on a great show but his best fighter is Povetkin who he is PROTECTING and HIDING in Russia. Wtf?

He just a hater that he wasnt succesfull as everyone else and spouts garbage to make him self feel better, soon ESPN will kick him off to ESPN8 or to his own BLOG.

Teddy can be OKay. But the fact of the matter is that the guy doesn't like non American-born fighters. It's as simple as that.

Historically, this has been documented enough, so I won't re-post the evidence. So, in all honestly, you have to take his comments on foreign fighters with a grain of salt.

In any event, he's right and wrong. The competition needs to be better. But the fact of the matter is that besides Martinez, Williams and Mayweather, he's faced anyone possible. Can't fault him.

It's like the NBA playoffs. You can only beat the guys they put in front of you.

Or when Brian Kenny asked Atlas who Manny had missed. Teddy just stared for 5 seconds and said "you're right"

                  That was funny.
