Is Martinez a biatch for calling out WW's?

First off i'm a big fan of Martinez, but I have to question his desire to fight WW's. Small WW's at that! He mentioned wanting to fight Pac, then stated himself that Pac was way too small for him. Now he's calling out Floyd. Last time Martinez fought at WW was in 2001. Last time he fought at SWW was in Feb of 09. If he feels there arent any challenges at 160, why not move up to 168? He fights at 170lbs on fight night anyway. He needs to stop calling out fighters 2 weight classes beneath him and worry about fighting fighters his own size.

He wants a big money high-profile fight. Can you blame him? He just moved up from 154 to 160 2 years ago. He's not a 168 lber, and he wants a piece of the elite. He can't face any of the supposed best at 168 until next year at the earliest anyways because Bute is tied to Showtime, and the finals wouldn't be until late this year.

Isn't everyone calling out floyd and manny though? apparently it's the coolest thing to do, but you have to realize those two boxers are recognized/viewed as the best fighters around.

144 actually, and JMM himself along with Nacho said is was a good weight due to the fact that both him and Pac weigh the same on fight night anyway.

            Stick to the topic now.

To be fair, traditionally the MW champ has usually waited for smaller fighters to come up to challenge him for his crown.

It happened with LaMotta, Hagler, Hopkins, Taylor, Pavlik and now Martinez.

However, unlike those before him, Martinez is actually willing to drop down to make those megafights happen. I can't really hate on him for that, especially when those are huge money fights as well as career defining wins if he were to beat both at 154.

              Just my opinion tho.......

Doesnt matter who I want him to fight. Fact is, he fights at or around 170 on fight night. Fighters like Pac and Floyd should not be nowhere on his radar who barely come in at 150 on fight night. There are weight classes for a reason.

Dude is nearing the end of his career and he wants a huge payday, he has earned it and they are supposedly the "best" fighters in the world besides Martinez. They won't fight him though and like Malone said, he is too small to fight the bigger guys. I think Martinez said he'd go as low as 150 or something and Arum said 147 or 146...something along those lines. Martinez would have to kill himself to make that weight now and Arum knows it. Floyd....he just acts like he doesn't know who Martinez is.
