One of the reason Roy never step out his comfort zone beside the Olympic robbery. Benn was rabbit punching through out the fight and the ref was too blind to see and too slow to count. It could have been a first round KO.

G man prob was on his way to ATG status. Boxer/puncher with speed and power. Took a good shot too, but not to the back of head alas.

I believe that Roy helped him out financially after what happened to G man.

IMO, it is far worse than incompetent re the ref. Did anything to enable the home fella to win.

Go watch the Benn-McClellan fight, it should have been over in the first round. G-Man KO'd Benn, and its BS that fight went on and Gerald got hurt, the ref did NOT Protect the fighters, it was a disgrace and one of the worst things I have seen in 30 years of watching the sport.

One thing though, I think once knocked out of the ring, I think a fighter has to the count of 20 to get back in. (Not sure if you know this?)
