Why aren't there more unification bouts?

is it political w/sanctioning bodies @ promoters or do overall they just don't care better w/chaos theory more title fights more money for them. Rarely do you see a guy clear out a division w/all the belts not counting foreign beltholders who stay in there own countries.

It's impossible to do it. If you even manage to get the fighters in the ring and the various bodies to agree that the other champion is a recognised contender, and somebody does clean up all the belts.....on that champion's next fight, the various bodies won't agree on a suitable challenger and will strip their belts away.

You should stop hoping for it to happen, pick your own champion through lineage or accomplishments and pay no attention to the crummy belts.
