    Whatchathink?
I think he still wants the $$$. Whether it be with Pac is another story. Had Floyd been correctly judged in the first Jose Luis Castillo, this fight would probably been made easier IMO as part of the marketability of Floyd is his "0".

Looks like Pac is gonna fight Marquez now at end of 2011 and by the time middle or probably late 2012 rolls around, Floyd will be near 36. If Floyd ain't taking any fight between late 2012 and now, then it ain't gonna happen period. If he takes a tune up opponent in between, then the fight is possible provided either guy don't lose.

is it even a debate at this point?

He already came out and said he has "too much to lose" and "nothing to gain", therefore he won't make the fight happen.

translation: I donts wanna lose muh "o"

Jeezus, if Floyd Mayweather pissed on his fans back, his fans would say it was "rain" and not piss.

Poll has nearly 3:1 that FLoyd don't want none. Surprisingly accurate for here.

Those statements summarize this entire debacle. He never felt it was worth the risk of losing to fight Pac. He's content with his money situation enough to where he doesnt want risk losing his identity (undefeated/unbeatable). He knows that his only claim to greatness, the only thing that keeps him in the same conversation with the ATGs is the fact that he's never lost. I think losing a fight would destroy everything Floyd has built himself up to be.

What are talking duke. Whether he meant it as a racial slur wasn't the point. My point is chill with the name calling because 9 times out of 10 if you ever said that in person you would get your ass beat the f-ck up.

Instead, Manny and company just made up a slew of excuses to avoid the fight altogther. And they still are.

And how does this prove that Floyd wanted the fight?

Making unheard of demands in testing procedure and bypassing the commission as well as $100m demand do really yell out and say I want the fight.

                  I agree.
not even close. the majority of sporting fans & sporting media place the blame on floyd & rightfully so.

We all know who didnt want to fight pac under the same conditions he did his previous 40 other victories.

What kind of ****ing athlete dictates what tests his opponents should take?

Pac was ready to face floyd under the same rules, regulations, & requirement his sports ruling commission. Just like all of pac's fights. Floyd is the one that asked for something out of the ordinary against a fighter with ZERO evidence of drug use & somebody who floyd dismissed as easy work, overrated, one dimensional, & too small.

The majority fans & media support pac & justifiably so.

I'm assuming Mayweather has two more fights left before he's officially done, Pacquiao being one of them and Martinez could be the other. Imagine if he managed to get through both of these fighters? Unless there's a rematch clause for Pacquiao, I doubt he'd fight more than two more times.
