I think it would be cool if they experimented in taking a new approach and showing fights on Friday.

I actually think Sunday would be a great day to air a big fight. I don't think it's a good idea to give Friday Night Fights competition since sometimes they really good a nice up and comer on their or even a solid veteran like Judah sometimes.

Sunday is when more people are at home after a long weekend. Less competition except during football season or even the NBA playoffs got games on sundays.

HBO is a very versatile channel. They air other things other than boxing you know. I think their boxing schedule is perfect. If I go out on Saturday's I don't go out until like 12-1AM anyways, which is technically Sunday already, and any fight is over with. So it doesn't matter to me.

On Fridays however, I can be out for the whole day and come back home like at 4-5AM. I'd have no chance to catch any HBO fights.

I would be happy with a good card every Saturday from them, but I know it's not really possible.

I love when the good fights line up back to back like in Nov/Dec of last year.

I agree with this Sunday would be a great day for Boxing to air fights except during the NFL season. But there is so much televised Boxing on Fridays like Friday Night Fights, ShoBox, and Boxing on the Mexican channels. But the problem is not many people would want to go to Boxing matches on a Sunday. I have been to a lot of Boxing cards on Friday and Saturday nights and people love to go to clubs/bars after the fight and party would not really work on a Sunday.

HBO may have a new HBO2 boxing series coming this fall. There is no evidence of days these fights would be on but I'd guess they could be on a Friday.

New True Blood episode on HBO, gf and I watch it eagerly...Bradley/Alexander fight on HBO, gf rolls her eyes and goes to sleep lol...my point being HBO has better things to do with their prime slots. Totally would agree that I would be in heaven if they showed boxing every night of the weekend.

I'd prefer every night of every day of the year.

Hopkins vs. Echols 2 was on a Friday night.

It was the night before Trinidad vs. Vargas on PPV.
