floyd started his career at 130, he moved up 3 weightclasses to fight at 147 and is already a small 147lber. in his one fight above WW he came in 4 lbs under the limit at 150 and still looked bothered by the extra weight.

meanwhile martinez started his career at 154 and only moved up on division since. hes a solid MW and weighs well over 170lbs in the ring on fight night, unofficially a Lt.HW in other words.

to say hes slightly bigger than floyd is nothing short of absurd, martinez is probably closer in size to steve cunningham than he is mayweather.

i agree floyd shouldnt have fought marquez but thats all u get from me, saying he fought smaller men nearly all his career is a blatant lie aswell.

exactly, if he really wants to piss off pac fans and prove that he is not afraid of the pac fight he should take on somebody perhaps even scarier than pac i.e. martenez at 154. If he did that, then, win lose or draw could anybody seriously question his balls again? Both Pac and Floyd want to stay as far away from Martinez as possible. Floyd and Martinez have the same advantage...reach. This is what allows them to fight from a distance and counter so well..along with their speed and reflexes.

I'm eager to see my boy Martinez fight again, I'd like to see him whoop up on Chavez jr personally and if not him, then Pirog (to quiet up that particular bunch and end that discussion for good) or Zibik should he beat Chavez jr. He seems to be as close to a perfect representative for the sport as you can find....there isn't much to complain about with him but this is NSB and here, there is always something to complain about, lol
