For a pro, Diaz acted like an amatuer for doing that sh.it, especially since he's been ko'd before.

Hats off to Holt for doin what he does best.
I'd like to see him in there with anyone from 135(if he can make it) - 140lbs...maybe a rematch with big head Bradley since he aint fighting Khan
Funny how ya don't wanna see sweet chin Khan in there with Holt..I have a even better respect for Bradley that he got up and fought like nothing happen in his fight with Holt..

I don't think Holt jumps right up to Khan or Bradley, he's still a fringe contender in the division. It's not like he looked amazing last night, as another guy said not much head movement and his chin wasn't tested. What about Urango, Matthysse (want his chin tested) or even Alexander?

I agree, and furthermore, weren't Holt's last 2 wins (counting last night vs Julio) above 140? So how would they help his stock at Junior Welter

Holt's already fought some of the best at Junior Welter, IMO he needs to stay +140 and campaign as a Welterweight.

I don't think he can move up to WW, his chin is questionable at 140 let alone 147, plus the first win was a nobody. There's more fights for him at 140 I think, he should just stay at 140 and work his way back to the Bradley rematch imo

People didn't take me serious when i called Holt one of the hardest punchers in boxing, despite his average ko ratio. Its like he has to knock you out with one shot or hurt you bad enough to the point that you can't recover, in order to get you out. Hes not a great finisher but IMO hes one of the best 140 pounders out there. I'd like to seehim fight Maidana. That fights 50/50.

That was a great left hook holt hit diaz with. I didn't think the referee was going to let diaz to continue with that cut from the headbutt.

seriously, i was thinking the same thing from previous of his fights, not a good finisher, but then i saw that nasty lookin face of his when diaz was give the count...you could see Holt ready to jump on the "kid" ready to go until the ref waived it off....I think if he wins a couple more fights and shows that aggressive mean streak, he should be in line for a title shot by either the end of this year or very begining of '12
