Wow! This guy has one hell of a right. I bet he would've had more stamina had he not fought 3 weeks ago..

I wasn't impressed really. All he did was prove he's got a hell of a punch, that's about it. In round 2 or 3 (I don't recall which) he swung himself out of gas and had almost no gas left for the rest of a fight. In a lower weight class, this should never be the case.

Not impressed at all. He had the opportunity to finish Cotto in the 2nd round and coulden't. Well I guess I was slightly impressed but comn, you got the guy running around the ring ready to go down, and you can't do it, twice in the fight.

i think the cotto fight might've been fixed...Torres had Cotto dancing all around the ring in all kinds of hurt from his right hand, but Torres came after him with the speed and ferocity of a sloth...Torres he did evrything he could to not finish Cotto...idk suttin about dat fight seemed fishy

Nah, he was tired and probably hurt himself from all those bodyshots.

Torres was a damn fine #1 contender. Only a shame he was not 100% prepared for this fight or he might have won. I think there should be a rematch.

Cotto's a good fighter, but if he doesn't learn to box instead of brawl, he'll be finished the next time he faces a real fighter. Torres threw alot of unneccesary punches when Cotto was hurt, he should have slowed down a little and he might have finished Cotto. He doesn't really have huge power, that hookercut he landed should have at least dropped Cotto if he had real power. Cotto just has a ...I won't say bad chin but not a great one either, his conditioning kept him up. Guy must do a ton of roadwork. He just needs to accept that his best chance is to box and not put his chin out there like that. Answer: Yes I was impressed with the fact that Torres wasn't intimidated by Cotto and fought a gallant fight, I hope we see him again.
