....In the early rounds he's not doing much, and then really start throwing punches and pick up the pace is in the middle rounds. Is this because of stamina issues or is it just a "game plan" that his team believe is perfect for him? To give away the early rounds against somone like Ward is pretty much suicide...and the only way for him to win is ONE big punch.
Is Arthur Abraham's stamina awful?

Low output, low connect rate but he is a KO artist so he can get away with that.Comment

He seems to pace himself to the point where you have to wonder about his stamina. He was obviously tired (and frustrated) against Froch in the later rounds. Someone in his camp even pointed it out if you watched the last 360 episode. And if he could get that tired from getting jabbed for 12 rounds then Id say his stamina is at least suspect. Who knows. Maybe his stamina is fine for the way he fights, but he just doesnt throw much. That worked at the lower weight where he could be an effective ambush fighter and drop guys after not throwing a punch for three rounds, but it doesnt work against the type of guys he is facing in the Super 6, and at this weight.Comment

Abraham does have an awful workrate, which could be attributed to having awful stamina.
He barely did anything against Froch, but looked dead tired anyways.Comment

if ward sticks-n-moves, he'll win easily. if ward holds-n-hits, AA has a decent chance to land that one big punch.Comment
