This feather duster peddler disagrees...After watching Saturday night's successful unanimous decision defense of his WBO welterweight title by eight-division champion Manny Paquiao over five-time champion Shane Mosley, Pernell Whitaker called Main Events CEO, Kathy Duva, implored for her to "Get us that guy," referring to Pacquiao, and added, "I know Zab Judah can beat that guy."

When I say taking damage I don't mean that he's not getting hit, it's a fight of course he's getting hit. And Margarito was bigger than him, I'm sure early on when they landed they hurt, but Margs had a broken orbital bone in the 4th and wasn't the same after. So maybe he took damage for 4 rounds there? Did he take any damage in the Clottey fight? Or the Mosley fight? Hard to get hurt against fighters who would rather be mobile punching bags, so in the last round he's gotten hit hard in 4 rounds out of 36? Be generous and say 6 or 7 and it's still not much. There are taxes in New York and New Jersey for international fighters, which is why Manny has never fought there. Makes it frustrating for me since I'm minutes away from Giants Stadium...
And you don't think Manny took damage from the Margarito fight? He has a political job, too, you know.
As for who Pacquiao hasn't fought that we complain about the scrubs, how about defending his title at 154 that he won? If you can win it, you can defend it. I don't hate the Marquez like some, but face it Manny at 147 has too much power for him. Why not meet Marquez at 140? In fact, he may be kicking himself for ever moving up to WW because if he stayed at JWW there'd be some great battles. Let me say this, if he's fought himself into a place where there's no real challenges left then his promoter Mr. Arum ****ed it up and let his cash cow peak too quicklyComment
