There is none. I was just pointing out that Pac has come in overweight where as Mayweather paid to come in over agreed weight. Both are wrong yet Pac was punished where as Floyd paid to change a contract before the fight. Wrong due to the advantage but not illegal.its the only one that popped up because its the only one...and because pac was drained for that fight....but yeah he came in overweight 12 years ago...when pacquiao was a nobody....but hey the fact is he was overweight...so props to you....
did he came in overweight in any of his recent fight?? just asking...Last edited by WESS; 05-13-2011, 11:24 AM.Comment

Hey judge how you wish. I was asked to show that Pac came in overweight during a professional fight. I did. What ever reason you think is right when comparing Mayweather paying to be overweight and Pac being overweight is all on you. I'm just pointing out that Pac in fact was wrong in the sport of boxing and was stripped of his title. Where as Mayweather paid to change the contract before the fight. That's not illegal. That's just wanting an advantage. Much like fighting Cotto at a CW where as De La Hoya had no CW even though we all know why.as usual, you should look at the context of the situation.
Pac came in overweight not because he wanted to, but BECAUSE HE COULD NOT. Why do you think he lost? He lost cuz he was killing himself to reach the weight limit.
Pac only came in overweight twice, AND HE LOST BOTH TIMES.
Rustico Torrecampo in February 1996 and Medgoen Singsurat in September 1999.
that tells you one of two things:
either Pac is a TERRIBLE CHEATER, or Pac simply didn't manage his weight well then and came at the fight overweight and drained.
and another thing. look at the dates of those losses. that was more than TEN YEARS AGO. Pac was an immature champion then. Obviously, he learned his lesson and watched his weight since then since he NEVER came overweight since that time on.
Its all about advantages and Pacs wants his just like Mayweather wants his. At the end of the day I don't hold a grudge on Pac for coming in overweight. I'm a fan of his up until 2008. Its been down hill since much thanks to bob.Last edited by WESS; 05-13-2011, 11:27 AM.Comment

i wonder why this site or any other site hasn't brought up the topic of mosley talking about how one of manny's ex sparring partners saying manny used steroids before the oscar fight....it was on espn last night and i read it on the univision spanish site...saying how manny used steroids and how easy it is for him to get it in his country, how manny never wanted to cheat but just get bigger for the oscar fight,it's an interesting article and i'm wondering why it hasn't been mentioned here on boxingscene..of course it could be a made up storyLast edited by lopez36; 05-13-2011, 12:44 PM.Comment

question..why do the mayweather mosley cotto fans hate pac a lot?? is this jealousy??Comment

are you serious?? manny was overweight because he really cant get the weigth and that fight was a title fight while floyd really intended to go overweight to have advantages!!Comment

Sounds like excuses to me. The problem we have here is that Floyd changed the contract while Pac came in overweight and was stripped of his title. What Pac did was illegal. What Floyd did was not. Big difference you silly silly silly goose.Comment
