    Steward saved Wlad, period.

Wlad did exactly what Steward told him to do, and he did it well. Wlad blocked his most powerful shots and while he did get knocked down, he got back up, which i didint expect him to do. Steward's ability as a trainer is just impeccible and combining that with Wlads ability made this a frustrating fight for Peter, so Wlad is back up top.

I hope this ends all this bull**** about Steward as a trainer. Mostly because i kept hearing all this bull**** about his fighters losing etc, its his job to tell a fighter (harris) what to do, its up the fighter to follow it. If Wlad had done ANYTHING ELSE during this fight, he would have been knocked out.

Yep, the only thing I was scared about was those looping punches, there hard to see. After the 4th round I thought there was trouble, Wlad was getting fatigued. I could tell it in his face and his movements, I was just hoping he would pull it out and show some heart.

Good job Wlad! I have so much respect for him. He dug down deep.

having said that, I still think fatigue is an issue.

I think Wlad proved a lot of things tonight.

To me manny is the only reason Wlad fought so well...he looked like a white..bigger ...less skilled yet very good Lennox impersonater.Manny probably sat him down and made Wlad watch many tapes of Lennox and said hey do this to the best of your ability and Wlad did while also showing much more heart than he has ever displayed.I wanted Peter to KO him all the way but Wlad clearly out boxed him and survived.

Yep, agree with everything you said.

First 2 rounds Wlad was too hyped up for the fight...He was throwing WAY too many punches, he was getting tired.

....He didn't just survive, he beat Peter from pilar to post. He had Peter doing half a chicken dance across the ring and if he pushed the issue Peter would still be sleeping.Wlad got hurt in portions of the fight but IMO they were due to the rabbit punches. Wlad flat kicked his ass and if they rematched it would end within 6 with a Wlad KO. He now knows that Peter "can" be hurt and Pete would get discouraged earlier than he did tonight.

Proved he can hold and that his chin is shaky.
