Vote here people, this is the official Ward-AA poll.

I like Ward (of course) to win this thing by UD. I see him taking the fight to AA early and with AA being a slow starter, I see him winning the early rounds fairly easy just by outboxing AA. As a matter of fact, I think Ward will box more, rather than fight AA in close quarters. If Ward chooses to do that, I think he wins by a pretty comfortable margin (but I'm sure he'll mix it up at times and fight on the inside). However, AA can crack and he is a pretty strong guy. I'm just not sure how much he'll land on Ward. One thing about AA is that once he gets going, he puts on nice pressure. We saw this in his fight with Dirrell and he seemed to be picking up momentum late in that fight. But, I see Ward having his way with AA from the first bell.

If ever there was a fight where Abraham would get stopped, this is it. If Ward comes out and is outclassing him and beating him up, he may quit or have the towel thrown in.

I agree Webb, people seem to think Ward can't fight outside but he can and has. He'll mix in some inside work I'm sure since Abraham can't handle it, and win an easy decision.

IMO this is a toss up, but Ward will have the advantage.

Ward would come inside the pocket to take it inside onto Abraham and could be good for it, and AA might fall unto the trap.

AA's chin and power could save him though.

i've been torn over this fight. i saw a poll on another site lately and didnt answer it haha. quack quack.

i went with abraham by KO. i cant really explain why. i just think that ward is gonna try to fight inside at some point and get caught. abraham has something to prove going into this fight. i think this has the potential to be a really boring match-up, or really entertaining.

i've noticed ever since the miranda fight that ward has been doing more in-fighting. i've suspected his chin for awhile now, maybe he does too and thats why he's fought way more on the inside against elite competition.

Conventional logic says that Ward wins a UD. I wont rule out him catching an abrahammer though.

If I should put some percentages on the outcome (I disregard DQ) they'd be something like this:

Ward decision: 50%
Ward stoppage: 20%
AA stoppage: 30%
AA decision: 0%

i agree. i dont see ward stopping anyone at the top-level unless a butt gets ruled as a punch and its stopped on cuts
