I don't understand why so many on here are bashing Gary Shaw. The guy is a good promoter who is never afraid to put his fighters in a tough fight.
His problem is his lack of funds don't allow him to compete with the big boys such as GB and TR.

i agree 100%. he seems to actually care about his fighters on a personal level too. he really isn't as sleezy as he seems. of course he has a little sleeze factor, lol u got to if u want to be a good promotor. but you are absolutely right good sir.

Of course you have to be a little sleezy in boxing, its the only way to get what you want. But I appreciate Gary for his ability to give us fans great fights. I remember when Angulo was fighting (before his immigrations issues) he put him in with some rough customers, and threw him in with good veteran in Cintron. Never over protected him like other promoters. The same with Bradley, DeMarco, yohnny perez, Holt, etc.

gary shaw is the manny pacquiao of promoters...just doing his job and trying to make money, thats all there is to it. im surprised shaw is willing to go 20/80 wit bradley, that shows desperation. but even at 20/80 with shaw, bradley still can make more with top rank, now and long term...that is only if tim bradley can stay undefeted, haha

Gary Shaw looks like the kinda promoter that steals from his fighter. Fat slob who dresses like a unemployed bum.

Bradley will leave him because he knows he'll make more in one fight with Top Rank than in his entire career with Shaw combined.

Its a shame because bob arum is a pretty low life form himself...but in this business you pretty much have to work for one of these crooks, you might as well work for the one who pays the most..When you look at Tim bradley and Andre dirrelll you have to think....wow...gary shaw is a bad promoter

as much as i would like to sit back and say how messed up it is, bradley has gotta look out for his family. i can't blame the man for wanting to maximize his profits; because Arum, while less than savory, can and will make you stinky rich. Oscar, Floyd, Pacquiao

however, i feel like if bradley was confident about beating khan, he would take the fight under Shaw, and then go from there.

Bradley is confident,but what ya have to understand is Shaw(most likely)will want options on Bradley and a extended contract..It's not about being or not being confident,it's about being smart and doing what's better for the future/career..

It's not even definite that Bradley will sign to TR either,I say let's wait for awhile everything will come to the lite very soon then we can see what's what..
