Man, I love boxing, but sports betting has basically changed the way I watch. I can literally bet on, or against any fighter, at any time, and root for any fighter, no matter what I personally think about him, as long as I have money on it. Shit pretty much prevents me from having "favorites".

I feel that, if you start having real favorites it means you really aren't thinking with your head.


Even if I don't lay chalk I still look at fights that way, and if I don't have money on it I really only care about being a bit entertained or to learn a bit about the guys involved for down the road.

Depends, but really you should not be betting on a guy if you can't recognize some situations in which he would lose.

Still a guy may never run into such a fighter that meets those requirements.
