    A Mandatory Fight Night Weight

Should state commissions required a fight night weigh in for fighters?

Do you mean eliminate the day before weigh in? And, just go by same day weigh-in?

No. An official weigh in the day before and weigh in during the fight night.

NO, WTF for? What would be the point of that crap?

If anything there should be no day before weigh-in. Having day before weigh-in is useless now with all these divisions we have so close together. Eliminate day before weigh-in. And, just have same day weigh-in. It would eliminate catch-weight fights which would be a plus. And, there won't be any huge size advantages in the ring.

I want to see how much fighters rehydrate the day of the fight. Its always interesting to see when HBO does it.

I was telling my friend that Mosley was around 160 when he fought Pac. He said that he was 147. He didn't know that fighters rehydrate that much before the fight.

And Pac was probably around 147-148. Pac had 2 full meals and snacks before the weight in an still came in 2 pounds under.

They eliminated same day weigh in after Spinks-Muhammad was cancelled. Muhammad came in overweight and Spinks refused to fight him, so HBO lost a lot of money cancelling it on the scheduled day...

Same day weigh in would be cool if it weren't for this problem.
