Pascal and Hopkin's I a draw isn't so hard to believe.

    Why?

Well, I watched it gain and after 4 rounds, it was 6 rounds down right with Pascal having 2 KD's called.

Well, with rounds 5 to 12, there were close rounds in them, and if you judge it again without giving very close rounds to the guy who has been dominated, then all it takes is for Pascal to get given 1 round for a draw.

I forgot what round I gave to Pascal now, but it would make it 7 rounds to 7.

I can't give a legit breakdown, as it's been a while since I've rewatched the fight.

But I do remember I had Hopkins winning by 2 points. 1 point would even be acceptable, but I don't think the draw was the right decision ; Hopkins won.

Contrary to popular belief and conventional NSB wisdom ; a close fight can still be a clear win for one guy or the other.

      See ; Chavez/Whitaker.

If you had it 2 rounds then you gave all 8 to Hopkin's.

        Fair enough.

I know for my own judging, PaScal won a round in there, but I forgot which one.

Those knockdowns are why we had a draw. Despite Hopkins clearly winning more rounds, a draw is no robbery because he definitely lost four rounds, and if you find one more round to give Pascal it's a draw. It wasn't a robbery because of the points Hopkins lost on those knockdowns.

fight was close after the knockdowns...the draw was a good decision...the rematch should tell whether pascal can put hopkins on his back for a ten count, or if hopkins can pitch a shutout for a more decisive victory...pascal showed good power early that hopkins has to be concerned with...hopkins dirty tactics may throw pascal off his game...we'll see soon enough...

Hopkin's showed me his resistence is gone in the Roy fight. I never saw Hopkin's so soft. Yes rabbit punches etc.. But he seemed weak.

Now I always go for the boxer in rematches if the boxer has good resistance, but it's hard to tell.

Hopkin's figured Pascal out, but Pascal is a bull.

Pascal's half brother who is a boxer said Jean is faster and stronger now. Let's see.

I had the fight as a draw. Was definitely not a robbery.

Bhop won both rounds that he got knocked down in. Those rounds should of been a draw. That means Bhop won the fight on a wide margin.

In boxing, to make a round a draw, you need to win huge if you have been knocked down IMO.

Even Hopkin's said that Pascal is a 4 round fighter and if it was a 4 round fight he lost, check the face off
