why would anyone want the two most popluar fighters of this era to retire?

That like a basketball fan wanting Kobe and Lebron to retire just because they don't meet up with each other in the finals.

Pac will retire soon, theres no need to bully him into it. And when he retires he dont take the word lightly like Floyd. When Pac retires he will remain retired.

But with the possibility of FLoyd returning why would you ask Pac to retire?

Maybe because he is picking and choosing his opponents the same way floyd did to protect his earning potential?

          Floyd: im back!
122-86, 131-92 when the Lake show goes down, they go down hard! SWEEPPPP! LMAO! If boxing doesn't work out for Floyd he may have a career in basketball, the Lakers sure could use his defense.

They need to fight each other.

Truly at 140, 147 and even 154 I don't think anyone tests them, not even Martinez who I gurantee will lose some rounds to gassing out.

Manny and Floyd do not gas out, and they don't rely on strength. Manny doesn;t push people around and nor does Floyd, they do hug at times, but they rely on their speed, angles, precision, timing and Manny on his combiantions and power, and Floyd on his pot shots and counters.

However, also I believe Sergio poses the biggest threat.

Picking and choosing? Margarito, Cotto, Clottey, are tough fights for anyone. People would have given Floyd a bravery award if he had of fought them.

Hes beat the best boxers of his generation. Something Floyd didnt do. So you want Pac to clean out the new generation for Floyd as well?

Should he beat Sergio, Ortiz and all the others as well? Pac needs a break IMO.

Lakers won 5 rings with Kobe. No team has done more. They just need to retool and get a quick point guard . All season, teams are pick and rolling them to death. I thought we could have used Farmar. I remember how he shut down Brooks when Fish was suspended. Blake was a big disappointment too.
